About AI Meta Remover

Your privacy-first image metadata tool

Our Mission

We believe you should have complete control over the metadata embedded in your images. AI Meta Remover empowers you to manage, edit, or remove image metadata entirely on your device, without ever uploading your files to external servers.

What We Do

Remove AI Credentials

Strip C2PA metadata that identifies images as AI-generated from tools like DALL-E, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, and more.

Edit Metadata

Add or modify EXIF data, XMP metadata, copyright information, author credits, keywords, and descriptions.

Selective Control

Choose exactly which metadata fields to keep, remove, or modify. Preserve camera data while removing AI markers, or strip everything.

Batch Processing

Process multiple images at once and download them all as a convenient ZIP file. Perfect for large collections.

Privacy First

100% Client-Side Processing

Your images never leave your device. All processing happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. We don't have servers that receive, store, or process your images. This means your photos, artwork, and sensitive images remain completely private.

  • No image uploads to external servers
  • No account required
  • Works offline after page load
  • Open and transparent processing

What is C2PA?

C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) is an industry standard for embedding provenance information in digital content. It's used by major AI image generators to mark images as AI-generated.

While C2PA was designed with good intentions around content authenticity, there are legitimate reasons you might want to remove this metadata:

  • Privacy concerns about tracking embedded in your images
  • Preventing discrimination against AI-assisted creative work
  • Removing outdated or incorrect provenance data
  • Having full control over what metadata your images contain
